Lil Silent
V.O.T.G Rap Artist/Founder
Lil Silent is a South Central Los Angeles underground gangsta rap pioneer who began his rap career in the mid-1990s. He became known for taking classic gangsta rap tracks from that era and remixing them into raw, gritty street anthems that reflected life through his own experiences and perspective.
At a time when Mexican rappers were rarely recognized within the gangsta rap scene, Lil Silent stood out with his uncompromising lyrics and hard-hitting beats. His unique style quickly gained attention throughout the streets of Los Angeles, creating a strong word-of-mouth following.
Between 1994 and 1998, Lil Silent recorded numerous tracks that were eventually compiled into a mixtape. By that time, the project was already circulating throughout neighborhoods across Los Angeles County and eventually spread to other counties throughout California.
In 1998, Lil Silent was arrested and later convicted on a case that resulted in a lengthy prison sentence within the California Department of Corrections. During his incarceration, he continued to pursue his passion for music with the dream of coming home and forming a rap group with his nephews.
Following his release in 2015, Lil Silent returned to music and released several solo projects but much of his focus has been dedicated to V.O.T.G. (Voice of the Ghetto), the rap group he founded and helped build. As the group’s creator and an original member, Lil Silent continues to be featured on countless V.O.T.G. tracks, carrying on the authentic street storytelling and raw lyricism that first earned him recognition in the underground rap scene.

Lil Trust
V.O.T.G Rap Artist, Producer, Engineer, Studio Manager
LIL TRUST
Lil Trust didn’t come into the music through a record label, a polished studio, or a carefully manufactured image. He came up around the streets of South Central Los Angeles, where the music was part of the environment and survival was part of the everyday reality.
He started rapping in his early teens, putting some of his first music on YouTube in 2013. His biggest influence was close to home—his uncle, Lil Silent, an underground street-rap veteran whose music and experiences left a lasting imprint on him.
In 2015, Lil Trust joined Lil Silent and brothers Loksta P and Big Trust in forming V.O.T.G. (Voice of the Ghetto). The group came together with one purpose: to put their reality into music without cleaning it up for anybody. Their sound was built from the streets, the struggle, broken relationships, incarceration, loss, loyalty, and the people and places that shaped them.
But Lil Trust became more than an MC.
He went behind the boards and taught himself the craft from the ground up—learning production, beatmaking, recording, vocal engineering, mixing, and studio management. What started with making music became a role in shaping the entire V.O.T.G. sound. Behind the microphone and behind the boards, Lil Trust became one of the people responsible for turning the group’s raw ideas and real-life experiences into finished records.
His music doesn’t pretend the streets are glamorous. It comes from the other side of the fantasy—the pressure, the consequences, the betrayals, the losses, the relationships that fall apart, and the weight of trying to survive while carrying everything that came before you.
Lil Trust speaks from experience, but his story isn’t limited to street life. His music also touches on love, fatherhood, family, pain, loyalty, ambition, and the struggle to become something more without forgetting where you came from.
No gimmicks. No Hollywood version of the streets. Just real experiences, real scars, and real music.
Lil Trust is the Voice of the Ghetto.
Loksta P
V.O.T.G Rap Artist
LOKSTA P
Born and raised in the streets of South Central Los Angeles, Loksta P comes from a family where music and street life have always been closely intertwined. He is the nephew of V.O.T.G. founder and longtime rapper Lil Silent, and the brother of fellow V.O.T.G. members Big Trust and Lil Trust.
Long before Loksta P stepped behind a microphone, he was a kid listening to his uncle’s music and watching the realities of the streets unfold around him. Lil Silent’s raw, underground recordings became part of the soundtrack to his childhood—music that wasn’t manufactured for an audience, but created from real experiences, real struggles, and real consequences.
When Lil Silent returned home from prison in 2015, the family began building what would become V.O.T.G. (Voice of the Ghetto). Loksta P became part of that movement, bringing his own experiences and perspective to a group rooted in South Central, family, loyalty, survival, and the harsh realities of the environment that shaped them.
Loksta P has appeared throughout V.O.T.G.’s catalog while also carving out his own identity as a solo artist, releasing five solo projects. His music is deeply personal, drawing from the struggles, losses, setbacks, and hard lessons that have followed him throughout his life.
There’s no Hollywood version of Loksta P’s story. The streets came with consequences, and he lived them.
Today, Loksta P remains incarcerated, separated from the people and neighborhood that shaped him. But the music continues to tell his story—a story of survival, pain, loyalty, mistakes, consequences, and the relentless hope of one day making it home.
This isn’t a character. This isn’t a movie. This is Loksta P’s life—and every verse carries a piece of it.

Big Trust
V.O.T.G Rap Artist
BIG TRUST comes from a place where childhood ends early and survival becomes a way of life.
Raised in the Low Bottoms of South Central Los Angeles, Big Trust grew up surrounded by the pressure, violence, loyalty, loss, and consequences that come with the streets. He’s the older brother of Loksta P and Lil Trust, and the nephew of underground LA rap figure Lil Silent—a family connected not only by blood, but by a history written in struggle.
The streets taught him lessons that no classroom could. Loyalty came with a price. Mistakes carried consequences. Friends disappeared, people changed, and survival often meant making decisions with no clean way out.
When Lil Silent returned home in 2015 after years away, the family began turning those experiences into music through V.O.T.G. — Voice Of The Ghetto. What started as a family connection became something bigger: a platform for telling the stories that rarely make it past the neighborhood.
His lyrics carry the weight of the people he grew up with, the losses he’s witnessed, the pressure he’s survived, and the reality of trying to build something better without pretending the past never happened.
Now he brings that same darkness, hunger, and authenticity into every track.
Ferndogg
V.O.T.G Rap Artist
Ferndogg is one of the few members of V.O.T.G who isn’t related by blood to Lil Silent, but the connection runs deep. His father had been longtime friends with Lil Silent years before Ferndogg was even born. As Ferndogg grew up, he also developed a close friendship with Lil Trust, a bond that began in middle school and continues to this day.
Growing up, Ferndogg was heavily influenced by Lil Silent’s music, absorbing the raw sound and street perspective that would eventually become a defining part of V.O.T.G. When the group began taking shape in 2015, Ferndogg initially stepped into the role of producer alongside his brother, Ru Productions.
Ferndogg quickly became an important part of V.O.T.G.’s early sound, receiving production credits on numerous tracks during the group’s early years. But behind the boards, another side of his artistry was waiting to emerge.
In 2017, Ferndogg stepped to the microphone to record a hook for a V.O.T.G. track. What started as a single contribution quickly turned into something bigger. He followed with verses, and his distinctive delivery and natural chemistry with the group immediately stood out.
It soon became clear that Ferndogg’s true passion was behind the microphone—not just behind the boards.
Since then, Ferndogg has established himself as both a rapper and an integral part of the V.O.T.G. sound. His voice can be heard throughout the group’s catalog, on solo projects from its members, on collaborations, and across his own projects.
From producer to emcee, Ferndogg’s evolution is another chapter in the story of V.O.T.G.—built on longtime friendships, family connections, musical influence, and a genuine love for the craft.
